Self-talk treats you worse than anybody. If you had a friend, a colleague, or somebody who talked to you like that, you wouldn't put up with it. Yet we allow our self-talk to tell us we're not good enough; we don't look good, we don't sound good, we're not smart enough, etc... Change your self-talk and you will succeed in this challenging market!
Bottom line: they don't have the equity.
You can't do the same thing you did last year and expect different results. For every one of your leads, you're competing with 5, 10, 12, 15 other agents. If you don't know your scripts, your dialogues, your value proposition, then you will miss opportunities.
This is a market right now where if you wait, nothing good happens. Those that are taking action and getting deals done are rewarded with more deals.
If you think you're bothering the person, then I promise you, you are. If you think that you're contributing value to them, then you are. Every call should end with an appointment or other action item.
This market is nothing like 2008.
A goal without a plan's a dream. Vague goals equal vague results.
This is an action-based business right now. You have to show up as your best version--health-wise, mentally, physically--every day.
Stop talking about interest rates, start talking about payments.
What did you do this week, Monday through Sunday, that you can articulate that said, "This is how I'm building my business?"
Phone skills, whether to clients, past clients or prospects, are going to be more important than ever.
